“Voodoo” by We’re Not Scared of Robots wastes no time showing teeth. It opens on a simple, indie-flavoured riff that could almost fool you into thinking this might be a gentle ride but forty seconds in, that illusion gets shattered by a snarling guitar break and a sudden punch of tempo that kicks the door wide open. What follows is a gritty, swaggering punk-rock riot that feels like it’s been ripped straight from a sweaty Scottish stage.
